These were a hit! I may have tried to stuff a little too much broccoli into these & some of them fell apart, but even those were tasty!
Recipe makes about 10 pinwheels
1 pinwheel = 3 weight watchers points+
= 4 weight watchers smart points
1 pkg Pillsbury reduced fat crescent rolls
1 tbsp olive oil
1-2 cups frozen broccoli thawed
1 cup shredded cheese (I used Fit & Active 2% mexican cheese blend)
Lay out your crescent rolls in 1 large sheet & pinch the seams together. Brush the 1 tbsp olive oil over the dough.
Sprinkle the broccoli & cheese on top.
Carefully roll it up as tight as you can. Some seams may open, but they will press closed better once it is cold.
Wrap in cling wrap & place in the freezer for 20-25 minutes.
Slice each pinwheel about 1 inch thick & lay on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
