These had such great flavor, but we are wimps & couldn’t handle how spicy they were! I was so bummed that after eating 4 I had to stop because my mouth was seriously on fire!
I suggest wearing gloves when you are cutting & removing the seeds from the jalapeños. I didn’t think I needed them with such a “mild” pepper but my hands burned for hours after making them.

Recipe makes 14 poppers
1 popper = 1 weight watchers points+
= 1 weight watchers smart points
Ingredients –
7 jalapeños sliced in half with seeds removed
1/4 cup light cream cheese softened (I used Green Mountain Farms Whipped Cream Cheese & Greek Yogurt Blend )
1 tbsp mayonnaise (I used Fit & Active light mayo)
1/2 cup 2% shredded sharp cheddar
1/4 cup egg beaters or better’n eggs
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
Stir together the cream cheese, shredded cheese, & mayo. Fill each pepper half with cheese mixture.
Dip peppers in egg substitute & then panko. Place open side up on a greased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
