I had planned on this being a skinny copycat shamrock shake, but could not for the life of me find mint extract! So it turned into a creamy banana shake & it was amazing!
Entire recipe = 1 weight watchers points+ (not including whip cream or cherry)
Ingredients –
2 frozen bananas
1/3 cup vanilla soy milk
Blend up in a food processor or blender. Add extra soymilk if needed to thin it out.
I topped mine with whip cream & a cherry, but it’s not necessary.
Enjoy!
Yum! Looks delicious–and so simple!

I learned something new this weekend at my WW meeting. When fruit has been blended to make a drink, it is no longer a free fruit. The Soy milk would be 1 PP but you would also have to add PP for the fruit since it is blended.

What? I have never heard that! I can understand when juicing because you are taking all the fiber out but when blending you are using the whole fruit.

It has to do with using more than one piece of fruit at a time. If you used just one banana ( and no additional piece of fruit) then it would be zero points for the banana and you would just count the soy milk. It also has to do with how many smoothies a person has and how often they have them, They have noticed a slight weight gain or no weight loss for people having them on a regular basis (smoothies with more than one piece of fruit).
