I have never really worked a lot with cabbage before but these were surprisingly easy! They were a bit time consuming though.
I had never had stuffed cabbage before today so I don’t have a whole lot to compare it to, but these were so good I had seconds & thirds!

Recipe makes 8 servings
1 serving = 1 large or 2 small stuffed cabbage = 4 weight watchers points+
Ingredients –
1 head of cabbage
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 1/2 cups uncooked brown rice
1 yellow onion diced
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
2 cups chicken broth
Start by cooking your rice according to package directions. Once done set aside to cool.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil & put head of cabbage in it. Boil for 20 minutes, turning periodically if cabbage isn’t totally submerged.
Once cabbage is done remove from pot & let cool a bit so it is easier to handle.
While rice & cabbage are cooling saute the diced onion in olive oil.
Stir together rice, onion, raw ground turkey, salt & pepper.
Line a 3 quart baking dish with the outer leaves of the cabbage. Cut the core of the cabbage out.
Lay 1 leaf at a time out & put 2-4 tbsp of meat mixture on them depending on the size of the leaf. Fold all 4 sides around it.
Fill baking dish with stuffed cabbage & pour chicken broth over them.
Cover & cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve with tomato sauce.
Enjoy!
