Turkey Chili

This recipe is pretty basic & I even cheated & used the store bought mild chili spice mixes. It’s really good though so I thought I would share!

Recipe makes 8 servings
1 serving = 8 weight watchers points +

Ingredients –
2 lbs lean ground turkey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion diced
1 green bell pepper diced
15 oz can dark red kidney beans drained & rinsed
15 oz can canillinni beans drained & rinsed
15 oz can great northern beans drained & rinsed
2 – 28oz cans diced tomatoes (not drained)
2 mild chili spice mixes

Heat olive oil in a large soup pot. Stir in ground turkey, onion, & green pepper. Cook until turkey is no longer pink & onion & green peppers are soft.

Stir in the remaining ingredients.

Bring to a boil & then turn down to low & simmer on stove top for at least 1 hour stirring occasionally. I let mine simmer for about 3 hours.

I served mine with cornbread muffins.
